Application Process for Veterans
1. Fill out the free online application.
2. Request Transcripts
3. Submit an official ACT/Sat score if you are under 21 years of age. If you do not have either, sign up to take the ACCUPLACER test.
4. Complete the FAFSA.

- This is not required but highly recommended to ensure you are awarded any aid you may be eligible for outside of your VA benefits.

5. Apply for VA educational benefits.

6. Request and submit your Certificate of Eligibility (COE).

- THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATION. The VA will not pay for any registered classes without certification.
7. Submit a copy of your DD214-Member4 or NOBE.
8. Complete and submit all required documents located on this page (see list below).
9. Meet with your advisor to develop a plan towards graduation and register for classes during a designated orientation day or a scheduled meeting.

- In order for the VA to pay for classes, designate a program of study which will lead to an Associate of Arts, Science, or Applied Science degree or eligible certificate listed in the DSCC catalog.
