Student

A transient student:

• Is not working on a degree or certificate at Dyersburg State but plans to return to the college or university where they are pursuing a degree.
• Is not eligible to receive financial assistance at Dyersburg State.
• Can enroll in this admission category for one term only.
• Must meet Dyersburg State’s prerequisites for all desired courses.

Ready to apply?   Follow the steps below:

1. Complete an Application
   1. Complete the online admissions application if you did not attend DSCC the previous semester excluding summer.
2. Request Documentation
   1. Transcripts
      1. Submit an official copy of your college transcript from the institution you regularly attend.
   2. Immunizations
      1. Provide proof of immunizations
      2. Immunization Information
   3. Proof of Citizenship
      1. Provide a valid Tennessee Driver’s License or the required EVEA documentation.
3. Receive Acceptance
   1. A letter of acceptance will be sent to you from the Office of Admissions and Records letting you know your next steps.
