Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will hold an Emergency Preparedness Drill on Thursday, February 27, 2025, on the Dyersburg Campus.

“We provide interactive training and drills to enhance our knowledge, raise awareness, and share information that helps employees protect themselves and others during an emergency. The safety and security of our students, employees, and visitors is our highest priority.,” said President Scott Cook.

DSCC Chief of Police and Security Mike Peeler said, “The training and drill will allow our employees to test our emergency response procedures and ensure the safety of all employees, students, and visitors. The drill will also allow employees to prepare and understand the best practices for emergency situations and respond using those best practices if those situations should occur.”

Again, we remind students and community members that this is only a drill.
